Meet Armelle & Cécile
Founded by French expatriates Cécile Gareton and Armelle Marçais, CCIS emerged from their experience with the American college admission process. Recognizing their ability to support the international community, they pursued 2.5 years of training at UCLA to become certified College Counselors.

Armelle Marçais
Armelle Marçais has been providing personalized guidance to students on their college journey since 2013.
Based in Los Angeles, California, she works with families all over the US as well as Europe, UK, and Asia.

Armelle has in-depth knowledge and connections with universities in North America and Europe. She is a member of the UCAS Registered Counselors Association (UK), the National Association for College Counseling (US) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
Armelle received her College Counseling certificate at UCLA, she also holds a Master in Human Resources and Labor Law from the University of Paris Assas.

Cécile Gareton
Cécile Gareton is an international education consultant who helps students unlock their academic, artistic, or athletic potential in the US, Canada, France, and the UK.
With an MBA from NEOMA Business School and 25 years of global experience, she guides families through every step of the North American and European application process, from financial aid to final decisions.

Cécile specializes in the Personal Statement, using personality assessments and in-depth discussions to help students find their voice.
Also a Level V Romana Pilates Instructor, she brings a dedicated, holistic approach to coaching and mentorship.
